Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Sheet

Description

PVC sheet (polyvinyl chloride sheet) is a low-cost and malleable material. It is manufactured by polymerizing vinyl chloride by combining additives such as plasticizers, stabilisers or fillers to produce the desired shape through various processes such as calendering, extrusion or injection moulding. The hardness or softness of PVC can be adjusted by the plasticisers and other forms of additives. PVC Sheets are resistant to chemicals, UV radiation and moisture. It is also flame retardant and is a good electrical insulator.
