Description

Marble is a metamorphic stone consisting of carbonate minerals or dolomite which has recrystallized with the influence of heat and pressure beneath our Earth's surface. The geological process of the formation of Marble gives it a distinct appearance and properties in a wide variety of colours (white, black, pink, green and browns) and patterns (veins, spots and clouds). It can be found in different parts of the world but some of the well known marble quarries are located in Iran, Greece, Turkey, Spain and China. Marbles are commonly used in spaces as a symbol of refinement with its durable and malleable properties for kitchens, bathrooms and other high-traffic areas within residential and commercial settings.
