Quartzite
Description
Quartzite is a metamorphic rock composed almost entirely of quartz and is similar to the Quartz stone family. It is formed during the metamorphism process when a sandstone is altered by heat, pressure and the chemical activity. Quartzite are usually found in white and grey colour. It turns into pink, red or purple colour if the rock is stained by iron. With other forms of impurities turns quartzite into yellow, orange, brown, green or blue in colour. They are commonly used in spaces which requires durability within residential and commercial settings.
